Visit one of the best museums in Africa. The National Museum of Kenya which is less than ten minutes drive from the Central business District. Hire a helicopter and go to the Mara for lunch and a game drive.

Visit the Nairobi National Park the only one of its type. Nairobi is the only City in the world that has a national Park.

Tired of the usual: Prepare a picnic hamper, barbeque marinades and drive off to the Savage Wilderness Safaris on the banks of the Sagana River.  An hour and a half drive from Nairobi.

There is an excellent functioning picnic site, with available spits for barbequing. Very basic cabins are available for accommodation.

For those who are interested in planning, arranging and actually setting off on a road trip from Nairobi - Cape Town to attend the FIRST ever WORLD CUP in Africa in June/July 2010. But we'll travel early on a road trip to arrive there in June 2010 for the Kick-off.

Collins, has been organizing safaris across Africa and we're very pleased to have him as our Guide next year for the World Cup. The plan is to do a road trip from Nairobi, Kenya to Durban, South Africa on an Overland truck. Hence called overlanding!!

We are all so fed up with the traffic jams that seem to have taken over from “insecurity” as the number one conversation opener when discussing Nairobi. While Nairobi bashing seems to be the fashionable thing to do there is another side to this city.

For a city that may have never been, it has become a teeming metropolis in a span of a century. Nairobi was a depot when the Lunatic Express (the railway line), was being constructed, chosen simply because it was half way between Mombassa and Kampala.
